Alexandria Health Department - Communications Officer 

​

​Over the past several years, I’ve led public health communications for the people who live, work, and spend time in Alexandria, VA. I brought strategy to the center of AHD’s communications, leading campaigns across health education, service marketing, emergency response, advocacy, and internal communications.

Highlights of my work have included launching the department’s social media presence, unifying and analyzing community engagement efforts, and leading communications for major health emergencies and policy changes. I am proud to have been awarded the Public Health Hero award by my colleagues who teach me and support me every day.

Ketchum - Assistant Account Executive​

​

I began my post-graduate career in Ketchum’s Public Sector and Government practice, supporting national public health clients including CMS and HRSA. I developed content for large-scale education campaigns ranging from press materials to web copy and video scripts, and I supported campaign execution across social media and stakeholder outreach.

A standout project was leading the “50 Faces” anniversary campaign for the National Health Service Corps, where I worked directly with providers across the country to tell their stories of service.

Carolina Center for Public Service - Communications Assistant

​As a former Buckley Public Service Scholar at UNC, I later joined CCPS to elevate public service through strategic communications. I led digital marketing during a milestone anniversary year and helped modernize the website, newsletters, and social media.

My favorite work was creating web stories that highlighted students, faculty, and community partners bringing public service to life across North Carolina.

Go Fish Digital - Content Marketing Intern

​​​At Go Fish Digital, I built a foundation in digital marketing—learning to analyze performance metrics, improve SEO, and create content designed to drive engagement and visibility through digital PR.

APPLES Service-Learning - Summer Fellow

As summer fellow, I took on several products to increase the capacity for service-learning work at UNC including developing faculty and student training modules and managing the budget workbook. I got the chance to work on communications projects including social media management, content creation, and direct outreach to the student body.
